WELCOME TO THE DISNEY FEATURES SECTION
(December 21, 2007)
It all started with the first animated feature length movie af all times, exactly 70 years ago.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered on December 21, 1937, at the Carthay Circle Theater in Hollywood, and became the highest-grossing motion picture of all time, for the next two years.
In this “Quick guide” you find all Disney Feature films ever created, and they are listed in the order of their release date.
Disney produced a variety of films including the 44 animated classics, 10 other animated features, 11 computer animated features, 2 stop-motion features, 9 Live-action features with animated segments, live action features as well as the productions under the Touchstone and Hollywood Pictures label.
Not included are the Miramax Productions, also Disney is gaining the rights to more than 200 films.
NOTE: All Academy Awards with a * were presented to Walt Disney himself.
